Welcome to HOPE Strathaven, the site for the united churches in the town working together on a number of projects. Here we bring you news of upcoming events - and an opportunity to look back at things that have taken place. HOPE was established nationally in 2008 as an umbrella organistaion for all churches in the nation to work together for their communities.  In Strathaven the churches quickly took on the challenge of bringing a mix of community projects together that reflect faith and service : Cleaning up the Allison Green and the river, bringing the Scottish Bible Society's Bible world exhibition to the town, the 24 hour prayer week and the hugely exciting Easter Trail are just some of the projects we have worked together on.

While each of the churches in our town is very active in its own right - together we share the vision of bringing HOPE - real hope, the Hope that Jesus has given us, to our community. Please browse the site and get a flavour of why we believe that the faith we share in common,  is one that is alive and very relevant today. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
